WSF’s 2024 Annual Salute to Women in Sports celebrates athletes, coaches and leaders and the girls they inspire!
This year’s event was at the iconic Cipriani Wall Street® in New York City on Wednesday, October 16, 2024.
2024 has been an extraordinary year in women’s sports: sold-out arenas, record-breaking viewership, increased investment and multi-million-dollar broadcasting deals! But this unprecedented year of accolades and elevated attention would not have happened without five decades of relentless advocacy by the Women’s Sports Foundation.
WSF’s Annual Salute to Women in Sports was the culmination of a year-long celebration of our 50th anniversary. We honored sports leaders and superstar athletes — from legendary icons to next-gen trailblazers — who are propelling the movement for gender equity in sports. And, we spotlighted pivotal moments within the women’s sports ecosystem that have driven our mission forward for five decades and counting.
The Women’s Sports Foundation is tremendously grateful for the overwhelming support we have received from so many friends for our Annual Salute to Women in Sports, particularly as we celebrate our 50th anniversary.
