The holiday season is upon us, and we at the Women’s Sports Foundation (WSF®) want to say thank you to everyone who has helped us celebrate our 50th anniversary!
Throughout 2024, we continued to see monumental moments across women’s sports, and they are not a coincidence. They are a direct result of WSF’s 50-year legacy, as we have fought to protect Title IX through our research, advocacy and community programming, while investing more than $100 million to empower girls and women to play, compete and lead – in sports and beyond – without barriers.
This year has served as a reminder that we cannot lose ground. Our latest ‘Play to Lead’ and ‘Thriving Through Sport’ research reports prove why our vital mission is just as important today as it was in 1974 – further emphasizing why sports are not a nice-to-have but a must-have for all girls.
As we head into 2025, it is our hope that, with your help, we can continue to fight for the rights of girls and women throughout the sports ecosystem and to not only kick the door of opportunity open, but also hold it to let more and more girls and women storm through.
Our work cannot and will not stop until true equity is achieved. Together, let us build a future where all girls and women can play because when they do, they lead and we all win.
