The Women’s Sports Foundation Speaker Service was established to provide an educational service to the community while generating revenues for speakers and the Foundation. We recognize that there is a great need to present female athletes as role models to the public. The Speaker Service is designed to achieve four major goals.
- Create a public demand for female athlete speakers and to meet that demand with a supply of qualified speakers.
- Expose the public to the variety of sports available to girls and women and introduce them to fascinating new names and faces.
- Demonstrate to corporations, schools and organizations that accomplished women athletes are also talented public speakers.
- Provide educational services and corporate contacts to athletes that can assist them throughout and after their professional sports career.
