2008 International Women’s Sports Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony
On June 9, 2008, the Women’s Sports Foundation welcomed members and new inductees into the International Women’s Sports Hall of Fame to the Hall’s new home within the Billie Jean King International Women’s Sports Center, part of the Sports Museum of America in lower Manhattan. Sports Museum of America Grand Opening
On May 7, 2008 the Sports Museum of America officially opened to the public.  The opening celebrations included events attended by a myriad of athletes.  Many of these athletes dropped by the Billie Jean King International Women's Sports Center in the Sports Museum of America to check out their exhibit.  To read more about the opening, click here.
