Grant and Scholarship Programs
GoGirlGo! Grants
Recognizes deserving organizations who seek to enhance the lives of girls ages 8-18 through sport and physical activity. RFPs from Atlanta, Boston, Pennsylvania and Seattle will be accepted in 2010.
Jump Start Grant
Providing financial support to young women who otherwise might not be able to participate in motor sports. The Jump Start Grant Program is available through the Lyn St. James Foundation.
Travel and Training Fund
The goal of the fund is to partially relieve aspiring elite-level female athletes of the financial burden associated with competing at higher levels and to permit them to concentrate on their training.
Rusty Kanokogi Fund for the Advancement of U.S. Judo
The goal of the fund is to relieve judokas of the financial burden associated with competing at higher levels and to permit them to concentrate on their training.
Dorothy Harris Endowed Scholarship
Providing female graduate students in physical education, sport management, sport psychology or sport sociology with a means to attend graduate school. This scholarship will not be available in 2010.
