V is for Victory. So is IX.

If you’re like many parents, you may have sensed that your daughters are not being provided the opportunities to play sports that they want or deserve.

Title IX is a federal law that requires schools to provide female athletes with equitable equipment and uniforms, facilities, schedules for “prime time” games and competitions, and opportunities for participation.

I didn't get this video until the last clip of where the coach was taping numbers on the girls back, and the second movement of the soccer goal. The first movement of the goal and the beginning clips were totally lost on me. Maybe we can do more to clarify these?

I found the video to be very clear from the start. All of the athletes were performing with improvised equipment. And I like the fact that there are some sports, such as the high jump, that are not universally considered "girls" events.
