
Don Sabo, Ph.D., is a professor of sociology at D'Youville College in Buffalo , N.Y. Sabo served on the Women’s Sports Foundation's Board of Trustees from 1993-2000 and served as a Board of Trustee Vice President from 1997-2000. He was a member of the Foundation's research and education council from 1994-2000. He was the project director and co-author for the Women's Sports Foundation Report: Sport and Teen Pregnancy, and Women's Sports Foundation Report: Minorities and Sport. He was the author of the Foundation's Gender Equity Report Card, co-author of the Women's Sports Foundation Report: Health Risks and the Teen Athlete and co-director of the Women's Sports Foundation Report: Addressing the Needs of Female Professional and Amateur Athletes, Miller Lite Report on Sports & Fitness in Lives of Working Women.
