Does Title IX require equal funding for female and male sports? Can booster clubs purchase new uniforms and equipment for the football team but not other sports? Does Title IX permit a school to maintain a nicer baseball field than softball field?
Want answers to these questions and more? The Women’s Sports Foundation has created Title IX Training Workshops to help you become an expert on gender equity in sports. These interactive workshops are designed to bring the Foundation’s Title IX expertise right to your personal computer screen.
For ATHLETIC DIRECTORS and COACHES, we have a personalized workshop just for you. The lessons below and their accompanying Powerpoints are designed to be done individually and are specifically geared towards making coaches and athletic directors experts on the Title IX issues they frequently face on the job.
For TEACHERS and PROFESSORS, we have designed two workshops to help you teach Title IX to your students. The lessons and Powerpoints will give you everything you need to become an expert on Title IX and then share this knowledge with your class.
