Learn from fundraising expert Linda Driscoll, GoGirlGo! Boston Community Relations Leader and Director of the American Red Cross of Massachusetts Bay MetroWest/North Area. She has over 25 years of experience in the field and will be discussing how to run a successful event to raise money for your organization. Learn about the many ways you can capture value without asking for money at all through gifts in kind.
- Breakout Session B: Interactive Workshop on Preparing Grant ApplicationsJoin Yasmin Shah from Grants Management and learn some of what makes applications appeal to funders! This workshop will give you a chance to analyze and critique proposal excerpts, and leave with a better sense of how to prepare a proposal in a way that communicates the vision, impact and efficacy of your program.
- Breakout Session C: Free Facilities and Activities for Kids in the City:
Join Ryan Fitzgerald, Director of Recreation, City of Boston for a fun filled session to learn more about how the city can help you. There are many resourses available throughout the city that not everyone is aware of. Find out what they are and how your organization can gain access to them!
